Diaron 200 – Prevention and treatment of iron deficiency in piglets and calves

Composition

Each ml contains:

Iron (as iron dextran) ……………..200mg

Indication

• Indicated for the prevention and treatment of anemia due to iron deficiency in piglets, calves, foals, pig, buffalo, cattle, horse, sheep, goat, and dog. Particularly essential for young animals and animals experiencing anemia.
• Also used in the treatment of secondary anemia due to parasitic and bacterial infections, stressful conditions (due to transportation), for treatment purposes, enhancing reproductive function and growth of young animals, supporting treatment during infectious diseases, and blood loss.

Indication

Administer by intramuscular or subcutaneous injection at an appropriate injection site.

• Pigs: 1.5-2.5 ml for the first injection; for the second injection, administer 7 days later if needed.
• Piglets: 0.5-1.0 ml injected on the 3rd day after birth and on the 5th day after birth if necessary.
• Buffalo, cattle, horse: 2.5-4.0 ml for the first injection; for the second injection, administer 7 days later if needed.
• Calves, foals: 1.5-4.0 ml during the first week after birth; for the second injection, administer 7 days later if needed.
• Sheep, goats: 1.5-2.0 ml for the first injection; for the second injection, administer 7 days later if needed.
• Dogs: 0.25-1.0 ml for the first injection; for the second injection, administer 7 days later if needed.
